Boundary Survey

HARMSEN & ASSOCIATES has specialized in preparing accurate and clear surveys since 1974. A Record of Survey must show the property lines as defined by the legal description, as well as other lines of possession such as fences, building encroachments, planting areas, etc. It is important to research adjoining legal descriptions, along with the site being surveyed, because legal descriptions do not always have the same language and may conflict.

HARMSEN & ASSOCIATES will set the property corners on the parcel being surveyed, and upon request will set stakes along the property lines as well. In rural areas, we can also set steel fence posts along the property lines and at the property corners to facilitate their recovery in the future. A Record of Survey must also comply with the many regulations established by the Survey Recording Act of 1973, specifically RCW Chapter 58.09 & WAC 332-130.
