Parks and Trails

Trails come in different shapes and sizes, each reflecting the personality of its designer and maker. One trail may meander through stately trees while another passes through a grass field. A trail is much more than just a route connecting two points. Trails provide an escape from the concerns and tensions of the workday. It's a pathway upon which friendships are forged and communities united. A trail by its nature beckons the walker. The trail invites people to slow down from the harried pace of life.

When properly designed and constructed, trails provide the opportunity to meet new people and unite neighborhoods. Parks should be well located and designed to meet the needs of the residents they serve.
